We, DAECHANG FOOD is a seaweed processing company since the establishment in 1979. Our strength is in the abundance of raw materials in a wide range of grades and weights for a uniformity in quality.

We run 3 production plants in Mokpo city South Korea with all facilities and storages fully certified for seaweed production. We make to order Sushinori (Dried seaweed laver, Roasted seaweed laver) and Seasoned seaweed snacks, and for products outstanding with highest quality worldwide and for reliability on our business motto honor and integrity, we comply with all necessary regulations and standards, and obtained international certifications for food production such as BRCGS, HACCP, FSS22000, ISO9001, ISO22000, HALAL, USDA, and KOSHER.

We are the biggest Korean supplier of the fresh dried seaweed for Sushinori to Japan. The Japanese market is well known for its complicated and strict standards on the product quality and were very proud that weve passed all the standards of Japan and have been the biggest Korean supplier of seaweed laver to the Japanese market. Thanks to large orders from customers, our revenue reached 30 million US dollars in 2017 and 50 million in 2022, and 40% of the 50 million came from the Japanese market.
